Mixing & Storage

Quick Use Guide:

  • Mix 1 teaspoon Dia-Stat with 3 oz of warm water (100°F / 37.7°C). Feed shortly after mixing, as the solution will thicken over time.

Important:

  • Use only with water — do not mix with formula
  • Not recommended for use alongside antibiotics

How to Use:

As a Primary Feeding (Short-Term Use):

  • Provide 40–50 mL per kg of body weight per day, divided into multiple feedings.
  • Use as the sole source of nutrition for no more than one day.

Alternating with Formula:

  • Feed Dia-Stat at every other feeding, alternating with regular formula feedings.
  • Use the same feeding volume as your normal formula schedule.
  • Additional water or electrolyte solution may be offered as needed.
