Wombaroo Impact Colostrum Supplement is specially formulated to support the immune function of newborn mammals and marsupial joeys. Designed for use when maternal colostrum is unavailable or insufficient, it provides a concentrated source of immunoglobulins and other bioactive nutrients that play an important role in early development and immune support.

Made with bovine colostrum and fortified with lactoferrin, lactoperoxidase, omega fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, and prebiotics, Impact Colostrum is designed to provide nutritional and intestinal support during the critical first days of life. It is commonly used for orphaned wildlife, domestic animals, livestock, and zoo species.

For best results, Impact Colostrum should be fed as soon as possible after birth and preferably before milk or formula is introduced. It is most effective during the first 12 hours of life, when newborns are best able to absorb the immune-supporting components found in colostrum.

Mixing & Storage

Quick Feeding Guide

Suitable for newborn mammals including cats, dogs, rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, horses, alpacas, cows, sheep, pigs, deer, zoo animals, flying foxes, and microbats.

  • Feed as soon as possible after birth for best results
  • Colostrum is most effective during the first 12 hours of lifen,
  • Newborns that have not received maternal colostrum should receive at least 2 doses within 48 hours of birth

Do not mix or feed Impact Colostrum with milk

First 12 Hours After Birth

  • Prepare an Impact Dose according to the dosing chart
  • Feed ¼ of the dose every 2 hours
  • Do not feed milk during this period

12 to 48 Hours After Birth

  • Begin milk feeding
  • Prepare an Impact Dose according to the dosing chart
  • Feed ¼ of the dose every 4 hours, between milk feedings

Mixing & Storage

  • Weigh the animal and select the appropriate dose according to the dosing chart
  • Thoroughly mix the required amount of powder with warm, pre-boiled water
  • An electric whisk may be used for larger quantities

Storage

  • Refrigerate prepared Impact Colostrum for up to 24 hours
  • Freeze for up to 2 weeks
  • Thaw only what is needed and discard any unused portion
